Senior Native Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior Native Developer to work closely with a variety of team members, including Designers, Artists and Senior Developers, to develop and implement complex client applications for iOS/ And or Android devices. Excited by technology and innovation you will work closely within the technical team with Managers, Designers, Artists, Senior Developers and Software Architects to deliver a wide range of projects for the organisation.


  • OO languages, particularly Java, Objective C and/or Swift
  • iOS frameworks and API’s or the Android Development Software
  • Up to date web languages such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Current knowledge of mobile browsers, particularly their limitations and challenges
  • Knowledge of quality standards, legislation, and best practice
  • Assist the Software Development Manager in developing and implementing relevant processes, procedures and strategies for development  
  • Develop and implement complex software modules
  • Lead maintenance, bug fixing and enhancement of existing software

You will need:

  • A strong academic background with an HND, Degree or relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge and practical experience of source control and tools such as SVN Working
  • Knowledge of current web languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of OO languages particularly Java, Objective C and or/ Swift
  • Experience working with Android Software Development Kit and or/ iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
  • Experience in cross-platform technologies like Xamarin or React Native
  • Experience of working with, and have current knowledge of, Cocoa or Cocoa Touch
  • Experience of iterative/ agile (e.g SCRUM, XP) and more traditional (e.g PRINCE 2/Waterfall) methodologies
