That’s why we are looking for a FullStack Engineer who loves coding, and who loves to make an impact on the life of millions of people through technology.What would you be working on?You will be working closely with many people from multidisciplinary backgrounds, and expertises.You will be working mainly on our rider and driver apps: - Implementing beautiful screens our Product team designs! - Creating awesome realtime solutions for our Android App! - Designing, implementing and maintaining solutions that fulfill the app needs.What technical skills must you have? - Git and git flow. - Android basic components: Activity, Fragment, Intent, Service, BroadcastReceiver, ContentProvider. - Basic UI components (mostly from Material Design): Toolbar, ViewPager, RecyclerView, CardView, Floating Action Button, Navigation Drawer, BottomBar, CoordinatorLayout, ConstraintLayout. - Good understanding of Gradle. - Knowledge of some of the following libraries: AndroidX, Google Maps Library, Retrofit, rxJava, Dagger. - Android Architecture Components (LiveData, Room, Navigation, Paging, Data Binding). - Proficiency with Kotlin and Java - Great understanding of one of the following architectures MVP or MVVM. - Repository pattern. - Single Activity architecture. - Experience connecting with RESTful API's. - Familiarity with push notifications, APIs & cloud messaging - Experience writing multi-threaded applications. - Strong understanding of the Android-SDK. - Great understanding of: OOP, Design-Patterns, CleanCode, Functional Programming, Architectural patterns. - You test everything (Unit testing, integration testing, E2E testing, Manual testing) - You have used SCRUM. - You are willing to learn a lot, and give the best of you to learn these technologies, even if you don’t know them all don’t be afraid to apply (You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take)Is a plus if you have knowledge of the following technologies: - You have experience working on web development What do we expect from our engineers? - Always look for improvement. - Never give up. - Fail fast, learn faster. - Open to challenges. - Build scalable solutions. - Resiliency. - Create amazing solutions to happy problems. - Hunger for knowledge. - Be a master on what you do. - You love programming, and computer science. - You want to make an impact through technology.
