The Shared Service Department is responsible for the central, highly available platforms which are used by all Gameforge games. As part of our team, you will work on varied and challenging projects, including the development and further enhancement of our software and data management systems.

Tasks to inspire:

  • Conception, implementation and support of our platforms, which connect the game and business world with each other
  • Maintenance and further development of our linked systems in order to guarantee permanent process optimization
  • New development of applications in the areas of e-commerce, Big Data, ID management and services to ensure the operation of our games
  • Design and evaluation of the integration of international payment providers

Qualifications to convince:

  • Bachelor of Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent and proven experience in development 
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP5/7, OOP
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, preferably MySQL
  • Good knowledge and extensive experience in web technologies and in the development of web applications
  • Ideally relevant experience in modern PHP frameworks (Zend, Symfony, Laravel)
  • Safe and experienced handling of LAMP 
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Distinct ability to communicate and work in a team
  • Great curiosity and willingness to familiarize yourself with new tools, technologies, but also with foreign, extensive codes
  • Ideally relevant experience in project management
