Short and sweet: You'll be leading our entire development effort. You're a top 20% full-stack developer (specifically react and laravel) who is even better at managing a team. We're revenue-funded, growth stage company and we're providing the absolute best equity opportunity around.
We're looking for someone who is interested in the excitement of a startup but confidence of an established company. We're a revenue-funded startup that is changing the floral and catering industries. We have three development team members on the team that you would be leading. We need someone who loves to code as well as loves people and helping lead a team to growth. You can be in the top 20% of programmers in skill level but you must be in the top 5% in ability to work with people and get tasks done. Day-To-Day You'll be programming and building new tools. You'll be interfacing with our team in Bulgaria at 7:30 am CST every morning to look at tasks for the day. You'll be working most closely with our other development "quarterback", our Founder, and our product team. You'll work in the office with our marketing, sales, and customer success team.

Some of our warts:
We’re in the tween phase as a company and have plenty of room to mature. We have problems administratively that we’ve never had to face before and are learning through. We have some pretty clean code but we lack great documentation so you’d be somewhat starting from scratch there. Because we’re revenue funded, we can only spend what we have so initially you’ll be getting paid far less than what you’re worth. We’re open to a very competitive salary growth plan. That’s what the other rock stars on our team have done.
- 5+ years experience in a professional development environment
- 2+ years experience in a development leadership capacity
- 1+ year of experience with each of 2 or more separate company’s development teams
- Ability to thrive in a midwest culture
- A penchant for Code Documentation
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with docker or environments
- Having grown with a company of less than 10 employees to a company of over 50 employees
- A moderately strong knowledge of web-app technologies used across the board
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud for setting up scalable infrastructure
- Salary 65k - 85k
