ABOUT THE ROLE/S

Due to continued growth, we're looking for multiple front end and back end software developers to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of our portfolio of products.

We're not a website / digital agency, but a provider of a market leading SaaS product, so you'll have the opportunity to shape, enhance and develop a product used by some of the leading brands in the leisure industry.

- Front End Developer

We need someone with a strong background in front-end development to take our UX prototypes and bring them to life. Existing software development experience would be desirable, but we are open to those with agency experience who are keen to jump into a software role.

  • Building up front-end frameworks across multiple applications
  • Collaborating with our Head of UX to get the best experience for our clients
  • Continually improving the front-end structure, speed, delivery and standards
  • Building maintainable, efficient code
  • Creating new re-usable components
  • Taking a prototype / design from UX and building it
  • Enforcing brand consistency in our UI across all applications
  • Working alongside our back-end developers to deliver new features, or improve existing one


Key skills and experience:

  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Good responsive framework knowledge
  • Experience with LESS or SASS
  • HTML5, CSS3, JS
  • Confident with CSS transitions / animations
  • Experience with cross-browser testing
  • Webpack knowledge
  • Vue knowledge
  • Angular JS knowledge



- Back End Developer
We need PHP Developers with an enthusiasm for OO design using design patterns. You'll be work with PHP and MySQL to build and enhance a market-leading SaaS product.


  • Building back end components using strong OO design methods and patterns
  • Improving maintainability of code base through innovative design
  • Improving test coverage of existing code base and ensuring all new code is unit tested
  • Participating in design workshops to ensure the best designs are used in development
  • Working alongside our front end developers to product efficient and user friendly systems


Key skills and experience:


  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • PHP, MySQL & LAMP Framework experience
  • Experience of AWS, Docker, Jenkins or similar
  • Experience working with design patterns
  • Knowledge of unit testing
  • Ability to demonstrate code that goes well beyond the use of frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter or Wordpress.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of packages with composer.

  • Salary between £25,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience
