Senior PHP Developer
We are seeking an innovative and engaged Senior PHP Developer who is fun, creative and engaged by taking on challenging problems to contribute to our web applications across both frontend and backend disciplines.
The ideal fit will at least 5 years of experience working as part of a team on small to medium scale applications, who is interested in a role involving leadership and mentoring of less senior members of the team. The primary goal is to advance us forwards technologically, while delivering a stellar service and value to our customers.

Build new applications using Laravel (5.x), MySQL and more (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB), as well as integrating with APIs.
Help maintain and extend existing applications.
Build new features and enhancements to all applications as needed.
Proactively identify coding efficiency opportunities and be able to lead less senior developers on the team.
Additional Skills and Experience
Building web applications using the Laravel framework (5.x).
Expertise with PHP 5.6 – 7.x.
Experience building PHP-based applications using Composer-based frameworks.
Knowhow for building and interacting with RESTful APIs.
Managing source code using VCS (ideally Git).
Comfortable on the command line.
Automated deployments (Ansible) and server configuration (Linux, CentOS, Apache, NGINX, Amazon EC2 / S3 / RDS).
Knowledgeable about composer, npm and package management procedures.
Practical experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
Comfortable using CSS preprocessors (SASS, SCSS, Less).
Building responsive web interfaces with a mobile-first mentality.
Able to build intuitive user interfaces when given design direction.
