Are you a seasoned engineer capable of defining, articulating and executing technology strategy from venture launch to scale?We're getting ready to launch an innovative and disruptive product to provide fuel and car services in Dubai - and will be scaling the team at pace!As Head of Engineering, you'll have the opportunity to build and shape a product, team and engineering culture as you see fit.What will the role involve?

Overseeing architecture and technology design
Hands on development (Ruby on Rails, ES6, Redux, React Native, AWS)
Ownership of sprint planning and release management
Accountability for deliverables for assigned modules across sprints
Hands on leadership and mentorship, nurturing and growing the engineering team
Defining best practice around software development and quality assurance
Collaborating with peers in design and product to build a truly excellent, groundbreaking product

What are we looking for?

Experience previously leading high performing engineering teams
Experience scaling products, overseeing their build from pre-launch through to maturity
Ideally, experience with the MVP technical stack - Ruby on Rails, ES6, Redux, React Native, AWS
A strong communicator who can mentor and inspire their team, as well as influence their peers
A background in building digital products
Strong knowledge of DevOps and experience with Agile, Lean and CD approaches, such as TDD, CI, Infrastructure as Code
