YOU ARE SETTING STANDARDS:
Autonomy: Based on our microservices architecture, you and your team will own the code. With your team you will decide together on the technologies and tools to utilize as well as run our large-scale monitoring applications on Kubernetes. Due to the size and start-up like set-up of our team you will have great ownership over shaping the products that you are working on.
Variety: Together with other engineers, product managers and UX designers you will drive the development of Zalando’s partnerships platform, ensuring a performant and user-friendly customer experience. You will build a variety of new products that enables internal and external stakeholders to create and manage their digital presence at Zalando, such as campaign management, outfit and collection tooling.
Collaboration: Together with your team you will build a strong relationship with software engineering peers in Berlin and across our other international locations in order to align with other tech teams on the integration of your products into our online fashion platform and to understand its technical interdependencies.
Tech savvy: You would like to do fullstack hands-on coding, especially working with React.js and Node.js. You have previously worked with modern frontend technologies such as with React, Vue and ES6. The vision of integrating new technologies such as AI into your products poses an exciting challenge to you.
Business-driven: Due to your business mindset you strive for finding the right balance between product delivery and code quality. You continuously think about new ways on how to improve Zalando’s partnerships platform in order to enhance its usability and productivity, and therefore the overall customer experience.
