Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d)
What you will do...
By joining Payworks, part of VISA Inc. since 2019, you’ll become a prominent part of a team that is bringing a technically outdated industry to this century’s digital standards.
In this role, you will work with UX designers, software engineers and product owners across the globe to build pixel-perfect layouts, user interface components, and single-page applications for a variety of websites and applications. You will work on a very agile team and be expected to context shift quickly between projects.
These are the things you will be doing as our Frontend engineer:
Extend our frontend to be the single point of interaction for our clients and our internal teams.
Analyze existing software for Usability and Accessibility issues and provide recommendations for improvement
Make our frontend applications part of our continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline to allow fast feedback and release cycles.
Verify frontend change acceptance and make interaction problems visible by incorporating monitoring technologies (rollbar, sentry, trackjs, raygun).

What we are looking for...
Understanding of UX and the design techniques and principals involved in the production of conceptual prototypes, wireframes, and HTML Prototypes.
You share our understanding that web applications are not mere web pages, but real applications that need to be structured into individual, extensible and testable components.
You know how to make web applications browser-wide compatible and how to build Single Page Applications that consume REST services.
You don't skip test automation and have experience with Jest and Selenium.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
